All welded aluminum bicycle frames require heat treatment to return to the right hardness and consistency and to allow a proper sealing of the welds.
A careful control of the treatment process is essential in the production of the frame. The various parts, in fact, are subjected to specific heat treatments: the box that contains the chain, the dropouts, must be then brought back to the right hardness, with uniformity.
For this purpose, the heat treatment in vacuum is ideal. Without deformation, so that the frame can withstand the mechanical stress and daily events (wear and tear, accidents, etc …) once put on the market .
