The Italian Association of Metallurgy (AIM) proposed on 19 and 20 June a course devoted entirely to the heat treatment of stainless steels and tool steels.
The speakers, university professors and experienced professionals for each treatment will illustrate briefly the methods of operation, by developing the mechanical and technological characteristics induced by the process chosen for the mechanical treated. According to the data of the association, the participants belong mainly to the technical design and quality control, so the focus will be placed on aspects of process controls, in particular on the treated parts. Will not be forgotten aspects related to safety and environmental especially those that more and more often also affect the technical choices. And will talk about vacuum furnaces, their growing importance in the automotive industry, in mechanical automation. The event will be held at the Registered AIM Convention Center (FAST) in Piazzale R. Morandi 2, in Milan.
