0

Miss In Action is the first acceleration program to create a female company or to upgrade an existing one.

The call closes on January 13th and is open for already established startups that do not yet belong to a “legal entity”.

Miss In Action’s requirements are to have a female founder and a female-dominated team.

Of the proposals received, ten will be selected and invited to the Innovation Day on February 21st for a pitch. Four will come out, for the acceleration path that will begin in March 2019.

Miss In Action is therefore the first acceleration program aimed at female entrepreneurship that aims to support startups / SMEs in achieving goals through the support of experienced managers and mentors.

The expected commitment will be at least eight days a month divided into two days a week. At the end of the acceleration program, explains Miss In Action on the official website, there is also a development phase of a Minimum Viable Product in which the four selected startups / SMEs will be supported in the definition of a joint project with one or more Entities of the PNB Paribas group (BNP Paribas IFS, BNP Paribas Cardif, Findomestic, Arval Italy, BNL Group BNP Paribas).

This second phase aims to produce a prototype that can integrate with banking, financial and insurance services. Investor Day will be the moment when startups / SMEs will be presented to an audience of investors and the date is defined in October 2019.

Miss In Action publishes the regulation here.

According to data from Infocamere, there are 1,313 innovative startups in which ownership shares and administrative positions are held mostly by women. Taking into consideration the whole universe of the new capital companies, the share is only 13.6% of the total. From these premises Miss In Action is born. And to all the participants, on our part, good luck!
